Celtic of Scotland defender, Efe Ambrose has admitted that he still dreams about playing in the English Premier League one day, even as reports emerge about interest in his signature by London-based Fulham.
The Cottagers, who once paid the wages of Super Eagles World Cup 2010 midfielder, Dickson Paul Etuhu, as said to be serious about signing Ambrose in the summer, following initial efforts that did not pull through in the winter market gone by.
Although Ambrose did not make any categorical comment on the offer from Craven Cottage, the former Kaduna United and SC Ashdod of Israel utility player told MTNFootball.com he wishes to eventually play in the English Premier League.
He further reduced the interest from Fulham to a rumour, since there was no formal contact from The Cottagers with Celtic, but said he was glad that his performances in the Scottish Premier League are being followed.
"There was no contact from Fulham or any EPL side this winter transfer that I know of, but when a player is been linked strongly to such league, it shows I am been watched and appreciated. I give God all the glory.
"EPL is a well celebrated and followed league back home in Africa it has attracted a lot of big players and I won't mind playing there at some point, but I am happy at Celtic, which is one of the best clubs in the world," Ambrose told MTNFootball.com.
