Fans Wants Tevez Against Nigeria.

Juventus of Italy striker, Carlos Tevez may end up playing against the Super Eagles at this year’s World Cup after all, following a fervent demand from soccer lovers in the former Manchester City star’s country for his inclusion in the Argentina squad for the Mundial starting June 12 in Sao Paolo, Brazil.

Information on offer from Argentina reveals that the call for Tevez’s return to La Albeceleste for the World Cup campaign has reached feverish point, as Argentine football fans are set to go on a protest march to demand the Juve striker's inclusion.

Tevez has been lethal this season in Serie A, but Argies’ coach, Alejandro Sabella insist that he not been enough for the player to win a place in Argentina's national team.

‘The Apache’ is currently joint top of the Serie A’s goals scoring chart, along with Torino's Ciro Immobile on 18 goals and has helped inspire Juventus' dominant form, but has not represented his country since 2011.

All reports before Tuesday evening had been that Tevez would not be there to tango the Super Eagles on June 25 in Porto Alegre, as the striker has been firmly out of favour with Sabella, who has never picked him for his national squad.

The situation, though, might change in the coming days, as reports also indicate that Barcelona star Lionel Messi has demanded that Tevez should be selected and, though the four-time World Player of The Year has denied such talk, support keeps churning out for The Old Lady’s star with each passing minute.

Amidst further reports that Tevez has fallen out with Argentina Football Association president, Julio Grondona, soccer fans in the South American country are up in arms against the player’s continued exclusion with the World Cup on the horizon and are planning a protest organised through social networks and banners at games.
