This report emanated from a Uk based blog for arsenal fans,arsetalks.com . Below is an exceprt.
In what looks like a sensational twist after a shocking and embarrassing loss to Everton; Arsenal fans appear to have had enough of the manager, who was once their favourite.
Nothing short of a victory or at least a draw was expected from today’s match after we saw the team capitulated in the last 4 matches. This however, was not to be as the team was torn apart by an Everton team that played with more guts and determination.
The scene at Goodison Park was not only shocking, but also embarrassing to Arsenal fans, who saw a team that showed so much prospects from the start of the season, fall like a pack of cards. We were brutally humiliated to say the least; and this looks like the beginning of the end of Wenger era, if the reactions of fans are anything to go by.
To say the truth, there was nothing new in how the team performed in today’s match; it was not the first time, and I am not sure it is going to be the last except the manager gives way for a breath of fresh air and ideas.
In what started as minority “#WengerOut” chants some months or years back; more fans now seem to have found their voices. The minority who wanted Wenger out months back appear to have gradually grown into majority voices.
There is a serious meltdown on twitter right now; with fans calling for the resignation of the manager.
The Everton match was one loss too many, and fans can’t take anymore as they vent their anger on twitter. The manager too has not helped himself, as he looks bereaved of ideas. Nothing seems to change; it is the same old Arsenal capitulating towards the end of the season year in year out.
You can’t as a manager continue to repeat the same thing every season, and be expecting different results; that is madness according to Albert Einstein.
Arsenal could still go ahead to win all remaining matches and secure top 4 as well as the FA Cup this season; but the problem as we all know remains unresolved.

Some of the #Wengerout tweets are reproduced below :
Love Wenger but he should let his contract run out & give us a breathe of fresh air with new management

Another shameful 1st half performance vs a Top5 team. Yet still many Arsenal fans cry: ‘Wenger forever!’ Ridiculous. #WengerOut

I love Wenger so much but maybe it’s time to say goodbye if we can somehow convince Martinez to come here.
